I got a message on flickr....Look...my Photo is on a website!...With a Link back to me, according the the creative commons license. Free exposure for me, and a free photo for them!

Nah....No pay...It is used under a creative commons license. They can use it for free as long as it's non-commercial, and they MUST provide a link back to my page(in this case flickr) =O)

I am ok with it since I am still an amateur...and will probably stay that way....BUT...its a free photo for them to use..but they CANT sell it or sell a product with it...and its free exposure and advertising for me.

Honestly I would urge everyone to share their photos using a creative commons license for the simple fact that it generates traffic to your website when used properly....and lets face it...nobody is looking to steal MY work..and If they do, then I should have some recourse considering it says "some rights reserved" right under the photo.
