Good Deal on a Camcorder???

Looking at buying a digital camcorder and came across this one below. Before buying just want to ask if anyone has experience with them and if so, what are your thoughts on it overall. Easy to use, picture/video quality, etc. Thanks.

Every review I have read tells me to stay away from DVD camcorders. Their capacities are minimal and they're little better, if at all, than a MiniDV.

Last time I looked at them... The DVD's only played back on the camera or a specific DVD player... Ya right than why bother!
