Thanks Lil. I wasn't sure if I liked it or not. I was just trying different things out. I need to get more filters for Photoshop.

I used the photo filter Sepia for the yellow/tan looking ones. For the second pic, I used glowing edges. This is one on my very favorite filters.

The glowing edges I know and you have worked it nicely in the past.
The sepia, I just don't see so much and had not even given it much thought. Add to it the framing and that second shot just pops! His and hers are cute.
Nice shots Mikey
Got me with the fever don't know if I should ride or shoot:ride:

Michael, you are making me realize that Elements is truly not PS. There is no sepia filter in Elements.

Lil, I always try to give it a little dramatic framing. Easily done with PS in the form of a drop shadow matching a color in the pic, or an outline around the pic. I really like the black frame, so I use it on most of my pics.

Michael, how did you divide the picture and frame it?

Michael, how did you divide the picture and frame it?
I made the width an even number (12 inches I think). Then I copied and pasted the pic and made the background wider to allow for the spaces between the pics. I then used the rulers to make two inch lines across (6) and using the rectangular marquee tool, I selected the two inch pieces and made them into individual layers. Then I placed the first pic, spacing about a quarter inch in between and then moved to the next piece and so on.
After that, I selected one of the layers (two inch piece) and went into blending options and added a drop shadow and a stroke. I selected color from one of the pics for the background and used that as the back ground color. I also used it for the stroke (or thin line) around the piece. I then copied the layer style and pasted it to the other pieces.
Next, I went to canvas size and made it bigger than the picture. Using black, I made it about half an inch or so bigger than the picture so I would get the black border you see. Then flatten it and save it as a jpeg.
Hope this helps.

I wish the reason I'm still up had to do with playing with Elements...I just finished grading exams. Now it is bedtime for sure!

JB, I've got 4. I looked for it, but now I'm going to look again.
Just checked. You can get sepia through Hue & Saturation adjustment, gradient and Conte' Crayon.
