Well, yesterday in New York (Albany) it was about 57 degrees. I had the day off and had been dying to get the bikes out and take them for a spin. I got up early and took the FJR for a spin, then came back and took the V-Rod for a spin as well. In the meantime, Rose managed to climb out of bed and get dressed and wanted to go for a ride. We called around to our friends to see who wanted to ride, and no one was ready to ride yet. Pansies!

We have a couple that we ride with that lost their house to a fire just before Christmas. They also lost their Road Glide in the fire, along with most of their possessions. The insurance company has finally started pulling through and they just bought a beautiful used Road Glide to replace their old one and haven't even taken it down the road yet. So, we got them out yesterday and they had a blast. It was good to see them smile again.

So, yesterday was a great day. I had been in a crappy mood for a few days, and it changed my whole attitude. As for the crazy, Northeast, as of right now, we have half an inch of snow on the ground and it is coming down pretty hard. Spring just can't get here fast enough...

Michael, I'm so very glad for you and a tad bit envious. Our temps were much more reasonable over the last four days, but it rained for three and more is in the forecast. We will make it though to spring. I know it!!! Just hold on a little longer.

Great story Mike. I got a couple of rides in last week before we got a foot of snow dropped on us last Sunday night. So I know what you mean. Do the words "In like a lion out like a lamb" mean anything to you? :) It wont be long now. Mike I wont bust your chops and let you enjoy your new found relax factor but next time a pic or two wouldn't hurt. ;)

Ed, you got it! About half way thru the ride I realized that in my haste to get out I didn't even grab a camera. We bought a small Canon SD630 Digital a few years ago specifically for the bike so we don't have to take the monster DSLR on the bike. It fits right in the pocket of my motorcycle jacket.
