I really enjoy underwater photography. On most of my dive trips I'll take the camera and strobe along.
First picture (macro) is a red banded coral shrimp. He's about 3/4" wide.
Next .... Spotted Brown Moray Eel
Last .... Yours truely. Doing my safety stop at the end of the dive I got bored so ......
Now your the kinda guy I wanta hang with:D

Underwater I use; a Canon G6 (7.1 mp), Ikelite housing and an Ikelite DS125 Strobe. With underwater photography you generally have to be pretty close to the subject matter so 7.1 mp is more than enough.
On land I have an old Minolta SLR and a Canon G10 (15 mp). I'm no where near the level of all of you here but, I'm willing to learn ! ;)

Tim,
This is all so interesting and very foreign to me. I've been snorkeling only once. I cannot imagine how exciting it would be to go under with a camera and look forward to seeing what you have to share with us.
