I think so as well. Its awesome to be able to view/share your pics like they were taken.
I uploaded a few from my hard drive as well as some we took today while on a ride and they look great on here. Thanks Max. :)

already put some pics up in the gallery, all named 'along the way' 'cause that's what they are... taken along the way, different trips, different countries

started to upload pics in an album first and then realized they don't show in the gallery, my bad

Welcome and good to have you here. Not a problem on the images, you should even be able to edit and move the location of them if you so desire. Or try and let me know if users can. I wanted this to be so members could add, move or remove whatever they liked.

just tried to move a picture from the album i made to the gallery but unless i'm mistaken there's no such option; i can only edit (comment, caption and/or delete)
do you prefer users not to use albums ?

It is a few things. It is a place where you can have your images hosted. It is a place where you can look through members galleries. It is a place where you can read and learn from forum entries by folks who are photo enthusiasts, folks who are merely interested in taking pictures and/or are simply gratified when they take a shot and it turns out to be what they wanted. It is a place where you can be any of the people described above and post on the forums.
