Welcome Mike. I am from Maryland and live with two cats and 6 parrots and enjoy macro, landscape, portrait photography. I find wild bird photography incredibly frustrating but I love seeing what other people accomplish.

Birds are something I've always had an interest in, but over only the last couple of years did it become a big photography thing. As you say, they can be a real challenge. That is one of the reasons it has me hooked for the while.
