Busters first ice storm hit here last night. Buster has to run out and check the mail with me every day. So today I get him pumped up and ready to do a mail check. He shoots out the front door at mach 2 only to hit the sidewalk which is solid ice. He slid the better part of 50 feet and down two small steps before he could get stopped, all you could see was legs and fur flying every which direction. I would have felt bad had I not been laughing so hard. He got up and with his little nub tail down slowly walked back toward the front door.

So, has he done something to get even yet?
They do so look like cartoons when stuff like that happens.

PS
Ali and Charlie invite him up here for some expert training.

Not yet but I know he will, Dachshunds do the same thing.

You guys put an image in my head of the little guy dragging a banana peel in a strategic spot and lying in wait.

No with Dachshunds it's more or a strategic placement of a stool, with the Yorkie he just gets mad and sulks for a couple of days. You call and he never turns his head, it's as if he has you on ignore. :)

I came home from being away for 5 days on business. My first Yorkie, Buttons was very well taken care of by a dotting friend of the family dog sitter, whom she liked very much and who lived in my house during the trip. When I walked in the door Buttons came over looked at me, wagged her tail and then went about her own business. It took a whole day before she was willing to give me the time of day.

This is a very different response than when the dog sitter is not appreciated. That situation will leave them hyper and extraordinarily clingy until they realize I am not leaving again.
