Neck strap that is semi elastic, especially comfy when I put a big lens on and go on a hike.

Here is what works when you search it on Amazon: Nikon Adjustable Handstrap for Digital SLRs.
Here is another site (http://www.bocaphoto.com/products/new/nikon/nikonacc.htm) and a picture.

Mike, I've never been comfortable walking around with a camera hanging from my neck. You like that thing, hmmmmnnnn....

The only one that Canon has available fits cameras with a battery booster or the battery grip.

If you were to audit my gallery the greatest majority of the pictures were taken with an Nikon Coolpix 5700. The Canon has only been a part of my life since the contest here.

I could see myself with one as well and probably would have switched to a D300 or a D700 had the lenses not have been so expensive..
Nikon makes a great camera (esp for studio or print) but me thinks Canon has em beat on action or sports photography..

Do you notice color differences between Nikon and Canon?

Do you notice color differences between Nikon and Canon?
Oh hell yeah depending on what series you shoot with IE$$$
Color renditions with Nikon are far superior (IMHO) when you get into the prosumer market.
Cams are more expensive for a reason
500-1100 can't beat a Canon (again my HO)
1100 to 3K I am with Nikon although I haven't fingerprinted the new 5DMKII
3K plus me thinks the difference is negligible
Nikon makes a great camera but you are going to spend duckies big time.

Circuit city is goin out of business....Sales are not great yet, but yesterday I saw the D300 knocked down $300. Thats only 10%, but soon it will be more.

They've taken down their retail websites.

Yes, they have. Luckily (well not for the employees) we have a store here in Albany. Of course the liquidators marked everything way up and then put 10-30% markdowns on items. Not any good deals right now, but hopefully in the near future.

It is a bit of a hit and miss with those sort of things. I did real well on an apartment worth of furniture when a store downstate liquidated. Not too much luck with electronics. The closest Circuit City is about 25 minutes away so we'll have to take a look once in a while.
