Busters toys keep disappearing

Buster doesn't seem to understand why his toys keep disappearing all the time.

Lil when he hears the ice maker he comes running. He isn't happy until I drop an ice cube and he scampers around to retrieve it and takes off across the house with it. I usually pick them up after ten minutes when he moves on but he is a hoot to watch when he gets one. If I forget of course I just have a wet spot around the house for a day or two.

My first Yorkie, Buttons, could hear an ice cube drop from a mile away. You are lucky he gives them up where you can find them. She would disappear and I'd find the wet spot later, if I was lucky.
