Contemporary photographer influenced by the work of Ansel Adams.
I very much appreciate his work.

Really nice galleries.
I like his stuff and I understand it but if I had to describe Ansels work in one word it would be "Living".
I have never looked at an Adams photo that I couldn't study and still be clueless
much like Annie Leibovitz and her Lennon series.
Masters of the craft.

Mike,
Have you ever seen the show of Ansel Adams recording of a camping trip with Georgia O'Keefe and other friends? It is called, Yosemite 1938: On the Trail with Ansel Adams and Georgia O'Keefe From the National Museum of Wildlife Art. This show is not what one would typically expect from Adams. It is a unique opportunity to see how he applies his mastery to a camping trip with friends and was very enjoyable to view when I saw it at the Rockwell Museum of Western Art in Corning, NY.

Never had the opportunity but it sounds like something I would enjoy.

Amazing stuff Lil! Thanks for sharing. Too bad you are not closer to Albany. I started a local photography group a few months ago. I think you would be a great addition.

That would be fun Michael. I'm the only one around into it.
