Yeah I think so
Great technology if they find a way to keep dogs from hiking their leg on it:p

Repetition my friend (40 keepers out of 500):D
I have confess something as well, I used Cyn's 18-55 IS kit lens for most of these.
Damn thing out performed my 50mm f1/4 and my 85mm f1/8 by a long shot.
Go figure

Well, that sounds like progress Mike. I'm glad you are making your way back.
I think it is so cool that you work with your brother on projects. Have you both been into it for a long time?

You've been at this for 3 years only? Impressive to say the least. You have to keep going. Who knows what you'll be creating with John in twice that time!
I love black and white and it works so very well in the first picture. The first serious pictures I ever took were portraits and it has been years since then. I did do one series for a family member who was being inducted into her College Athletic Hall of Fame. She'd denied permission to post the pictures. Funny thing is that one was used in the program, one on her plaque and again on a carving hanging on a wall at the school.

I love B&W as well.
There is just something dramatic that I can't explain and causes you to study the photograph.
Here is a series just for you Lil..

I am working on a slide show but need to purchase stock music so as not to infringe on somebodies copyright.:(

That is a very real issue, isn't it? Is stock music expensive?
That is a very real issue, isn't it? Is stock music expensive?
Only if it is decent and there is a lot of gray area in the issue of fair use...
Royalty free, copyright free, Direct buyout and licensing gets pretty confusing..
For instance I will probably never sell a slide show presentation but if I post one where there are banner ads or link to a site that has banner ads could be construed as "for profit".
Gonna have to buy me a kazoo and do my own:D

Why we have lawyers?
Don't care for lawyers.
I can get unlimited license for any type of music (genre) from someone I never heard of for $600 for a 3 year certificate:(
Practicing the Kazoo as I type this

Rush Limbaugh does the same thing to get bumper music for his show.
