I just made some calendars on mpix for my family for Christmas. I don't know if anyone has tried it out yet, but it was very cool. You add your own text and pictures. You can even add pictures to the little day squares. I'll let you know how they look when I get them.

I look forward to hearing from you. I've had them printed through Apple/iPhoto and they came out extremely well.

The calendars arrived today. It was a fast turn around...3 days I think. They are absolutely beautiful! This was my first experience, so I have no basis for comparison, but I think they look amazing. I did the ones under "press products". There is another calendar on the site, but is not what I was looking for.

I decided to try it out and just finished ordering some for my nieces and brother in law etc. It was so hard to pick photos though so I ended up with butterfly shots and then little pics of them inserted into specific days scattered throughout. Hope it turns out OK!

Now I am thinking of doing one of my classic cars for my car mechanics .....gotta find some use for those photos.:)

:iagree
I made my Christmas cards and soft-covered books for the girl's field hockey coaches, that were filled with pics from the season.
Everything was beautiful, but the ink on the cards and the covers of the books scrapes right off.
It is really disappointing because I won't be able to use them for these products, and I had planned on making a lot more.:(

I did just order the most awesome business cards from Moo.com and I have to tell you, they are absolutely beautiful, the quality of the pics and the card stock they use in better that I have ever seen before! 50 cards/ 50 different cards and very easy to do!!
I can't wait to try their greeting cards!

Erin, were the ones that the ink scraped off of from Mpix???

Yes Lil, Mpix. I had bundled the Christmas cards with ribbon to sell at the gallery, and where the ribbon touched the cards, the ink rubbed off.
Same with the softcover books. Just touching the cover lightly with your fingernail will take the ink right off. I am really disappointed, because the pictures come out so beautiful, but I can't have those kind of quality issues when I'm trying to sell things.

Erin, you have to email them? They have a great customer service reputation? They were phenomenal with me when I had a problem and shipped it quickly to meet a deadline at no cost to me.
Check so at least you get money back. One of the reasons I tried them was because of the job someone else raved about they did with cards.
