Lil asked me about my new interest in video last week, and I wanted to touch on it again. The hardest part about being a motorcycle riding photographer is that you see so many amazing things that you want to shoot, but if you stopped to shoot them all, you'd never get anywhere.
While the video camera can't produce the quality that the dSLR can, it can capture a lot of the scenery that I can't while I am riding.
On Saturday, Rose and I joined a couple we ride with every week and went for a ride in my favorite location of all - the Catskills. We stumbled on a few gems that day. With the advice from a fellow rider at a local gas station, we took a road we had never been on before. It was amazing. The large homes were beautiful, and some had 50 plus foot high towers in their yards. I assume they were for the view, which must have been amazing. At the fork in the road, just as he had mentioned was this amazing church...
Rose was hand-holding the video camera, so this may cause motion sickness. Be warned!

Heading uphill past the falls. Notice the cop on the way down. Glad I met him there...hehehehehe
