Count the seconds, at 3000 fps, on some shots, this shooter is a mile away.

Pretty impressive! Barrett is right near my back door could say we have moved a couple barrels for them but not allowed to say.
Those rifles are sic!
Love to have one but am running short on engine blocks to exploit.

Neat reprinted article in one of my Fifty Caliber Shooter's Assoc. magazine, 2 guys, really the founders of the FCSA,
taking specially prepared 50BMG rifles with custom machined scope mounts for exaggeratedly long range shooting,
shooting at a 12' X 15' rock at 3500 yards. They had travelled half way across the country for this location,
a vast flat basin of featureless desert miles across, with one big black rock the size of a haystack.

After getting sighting in, they were routinely getting 2 or 3 hits in 5 shots.
Best string was 7 hits in 10 rounds. Not exactly precision, but still pretty damned impressive.
They concluded in a combat scenario, you couldn't count on being able to hit a man at that range,
but his vehicle would be in trouble.
