That is so touching Max. I got a little choked up when I opened this thread and saw the picture. She will live on forever.

Real special Max. The woman remembered, the rivet and the friend. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.

Beautiful Max.
When was her birthday Max?
I never asked and didn't realize we were the same age.
Awesome tribute.. I mean that
We should all be loved as much on earth

Jeannie's birthday was May 5th, cinco de mayo. It made it easy to not forget especially here in Texas.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Jeannie. I am new on the forum so we haven't met. I lost my sister in 2008 and it has been hard to watch my sister's family struggle through their loss.

Hey thats great! I dont go on any long trip without Jeannies ride bell. I have never met either Jeannie or Max but for some reason feel compelled to honor her memory.

Funny you should mention your Jeannie bell Ed.
This is a picture of Nick on my bike that I took for a photo assignment that I am submitting today about speed.
If you look closely you will see that I have two gremlin bells.

I have my Jeannie bell on the front, but Nick, being away, didn't know about it and gave me a bell as a gift.
I couldn't bring myself to take my Jeannie bell off, and didn't have the heart not to use the one my hubby gave me, so now I have two (Nick's is near the back tire)!
Hopefully it will bring me twice the protection.
So far So good! http://bestsmileys.com/angles/6.gif

I sold my Vrod, no motorcycle, but I did keep my Jeannie bell. It now sits on top my dresser at home.
