Drove to DFW today to cover Nastia Liuken's return from Beijing.
Had to elbow some videographers and photographers, but I did what I had to do to get the best shot. ^_^

Wow. Great shots! She looks different with her hair down. Judging by your shot of the crowd, she has inspired a whole new generation of gymnasts!

She also proved that you dont need to be "tough" to be a winner. Not that I know her but she seems very sweet and she let her hard work do the talking.

Megan uses what was her mothers 1D Canon Mark II. If I remember her flash is a 480 canon but Megan I'm sure knows.

It has excellent resolution, of course augmented by skill of the photographer who managed to capture the lighter side of Nastia.
