Thank you everyone. It is one of my favorite house plants. If you are in warm enough climates, you know, down south were they don't get much snow, you can grow them outside. They are bulbs.

I like how the angle of the photo is kicked off to the left, it kind of gives the feeling they are sliding off the ice even more, but I would like to see a straightened/cropped shot too. :)

Brad, I'd never seen them until moving over to Canandaigua. They are always out here. I used to live near Seneca Lake and work right off of Cayuga and never saw them on either. The part that blows me away is that they reach 90+ miles out there.

Lil, that is the Three Soldiers Statue. It is in Washington DC right by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial "The Wall".

Nick and I were out riding around over in NY state and we saw this bridge. I plan on going back again when it is a little prettier out.
We're heading out again now, it is supposed to be in the 60's today. We are trying to ride as much as possible before Nick's surgery. He loves his new bike btw!
