I know I am not on the cutting edge of things. However, for those with an interest. BOTH NIKON, & Canon users, if you haven't already, you might want to check for firmware updates. I kept checking for the D 80, but must have been at the wrong out of date site. Went from 1.01 to 1.11 on the D 80 while in the process of updating the D 700 -- Great things can happen when you come out from under your rock. :dog: :D So, anyway, here is a site you MAY or MAY NOT, be aware of. GOOD LUCK!!!! :)

Thank goodness my 50D is up to date. I hate installing updates. If I take it to the camera shop they will clean it and check the firmware for free. :dance

Lil~ You ARE lucky. We have no real camera shops locally. I believe I have had my F2A cleaned and adjusted once-- since 1976. :ride: :) It only took a couple minutes a camera. :)

Check
D90 is up to date. A most excellent suggestion by the way.

I am lucky. It is a half hour drive, but worth every minute.
