Video camera's are making the same explosion now that digital camera's have been for the last couple of years. I recently picked up a high def canon HF10 that takes amazing 1080I video and comes with a 16gb internal memory card or has a place to insert an external SD card. Here is an example of some of the video shot with the HF10

You might have seen me mention 2 doors down that I picked up the HG10 not too long ago and I love the thing! I'd be interested to know what you're ripping the AVCHD files with for posting here?

I have several programs just trying them all out, most of them are done with pinnacle studio. It seems to have the greatest ability to save to different formats so far. I have found premiere to be pretty much worthless for all the hd formats.

I have found the same about Premier, as well. I'll check into Pinnacle.

Thanks GOB

Sorry, but I did not see anything but a red screen and could hear some voices, and probably guns fire some shots...

What operating system are you using, it is recorded with the wmv codec so having media player or the codec is required.

I Have a Mac with QuickTime and Flip4Mac that should be able to show all wmv files. But that seems to be untrue... I can see others of your vids but not the last two.

Anyhow,
I have a Canon Camcorder MVX460 DV and Canon Digital IXUS 60. For editing I use iMovieHD(06) and iMovie(08) but would like to have an a little more "versatile" program. The iMovie is a bit unstable and a bit awkward to use. It could also have some more features. Unfortunately it the price tag for better editing programs for Mac is too big for me:(

But sooner or later I'll get the cash, or somebody makes a lowprice program that I can use:cool:

BTW, Since English is not my native language, I ask for forgiveness for the abuse of it and hope that I do not offend to much people out there.
If You have problems understanding; Please let me know:)
