HAHA! Well, it isn't human intimacy, so probably not. If it were other animals, say dogs or horses, maybe it would be inappropriate in my eyes.

I'm kind of a fan of what they call gun porn myself but I guess to each his own. :)

Oh and before anyone asked no gun porn doesn't include clothes or women. It is just taking photos of guns, I know it sounds strange but I guess there are worst things a man could do.

Naked Gun, thats funny. Never really thought of it that way but on some gun sites I visit they do call it gun porn. :) Some of them go into great detail to take just the right picture with the correct back drop.

Max,
Only because my Dad was a Marine and oh so very into his guns do I think I understand the concept of gun porn. It was my job, from as young as I can remember, to clean them for him. It is how I learned an appreciation for them. Sadly though, I haven't gone shooting since he passed back in '93.

I would venture to say that all of us that are into guns gained our appreciation of them from atleast one of our parents. I count myself lucky to have been raised in a very rural area where it was a common thing to go out with my dad and just go shooting at pop cans, necco wafer candies and various other improvised targets. My father also passed away, but still today, when I go back home to visit my brothers, going out to shoot guns is one of my favorite activities to do with them, second only to going on a motorcycle ride.

To some men, and I count myself included, Hoppes #9 is an aphrodisiac. :D
